On the morning of January 22nd, I invited a representative from the Beijing office of the German Albert Foundation (¡°Aihui¡±) for many years of cooperation to hold an international development strategy and experience sharing report for the German Albert Foundation in Beijing. At the meeting, Ren Yan, director of the Ai¡¯s Beijing office, introduced the development of the club¡¯s internationalization and conducted in-depth interaction with the participants. Deputy Secretary-General Liu Kaiyang attended and addressed and Deputy Secretary-General Zheng Yao chaired the report. In addition to the relevant staff of the secretariat, Huang Haoming, deputy chairman and secretary-general of the council of the China International Non-governmental Organizations Cooperation Promotion Association, Hong Ping, deputy secretary general of the China Family Planning Association, Ke Yinbin, secretary general of the Chahar society, and the Chinese people Representatives of the Peace and Disarmament Association and the International Exchange Promotion Association of Chinese NGOs attended the conference.
In his speech, Deputy Secretary-General Liu Kaiyang pointed out that as the think tank of the German Social Democratic Party, after 90 years of development, Aihui has become the oldest and largest political foundation in Germany, and also the largest worker sports fund in Europe. More important influence. At present, Aihui has offices in about 90 countries and has cooperation projects with more than 100 countries. It has accumulated a lot of experience in international development. In recent years, Chinese non-governmental organizations have developed rapidly. The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed strengthening the foreign exchanges of nongovernmental organizations and further stimulated the enthusiasm of Chinese non-governmental organizations in carrying out international exchanges and cooperation. The Aihui¡¯s international experience has certain reference effects for Chinese civil organizations interested in participating in international activities.
Ren Biao introduced the basic situation of the international development of Aihui from three aspects. The first is the historical evolution of the international development of Aihui. Founded in 1925 under the influence of the German Social Democratic Party, the Aid Society is a political foundation for the political and social education of people from all walks of life, and is the only foundation representing the interests of German trade unions. At the beginning of its establishment, Ai will base its efforts on restoring domestic political order and democratic traditions. After the Second World War, the reconstruction of the Social Democratic Party was also carried out. In the 1960s, with the gradual improvement of Germany¡¯s international influence, Ai¡¯s association began to carry out international cooperation with the support of the German parliament. Since the end of the Cold War, the trend of multi-polarization and economic globalization in the world has become clear, and the influence of emerging countries has risen. The international cooperation of the Aid Society has reflected more regional and global colors. After the disintegration of the Soviet Union and the drastic changes in Eastern Europe in the 1990s, Ai will step up its efforts in Central and Eastern European countries to maintain the unity and stability of Europe.
In the second part, Ren Biao mainly introduced the international development principles and important experience of Aihui. After more than half a century of international development, Aihui has set up 112 offices in countries around the world. In 2014, the company had 612 employees worldwide. The annual budget for 2013 is 153 million euros, of which 88 million euros are for international cooperation. After years of development and accumulation of experience, Ai will form four guiding principles for international development: First, to promote the political and social development of all countries from the perspective of pluralism; second, to actively promote prudent decision-making methods; International understanding, transcending ideological differences through dialogue; Fourth, fully respecting the laws of other countries and international law and insisting on non-interference in other countries¡¯ internal affairs. Renhe also summarized the important experiences of the international development of the Aihui Association as follows: From the perspective of diversified values, establish long-term and sustainable work goals; have a strong sense of cross-cultural communication, respect the diversity of national conditions in various countries; and rationally allocate manpower Resources, provide stable financial guarantees, win the trust of partners; conduct scientific analysis and assessment of implemented projects, and put forward reasonable policy recommendations; maintain communication and coordination with other German foundations to avoid the phenomenon of ¡°stalling¡± each other .
In the last part of the presentation, Renhe used the office of Aihui in China and the Brussels office of the European Union as examples to illustrate the operation and assessment principles of Aihui¡¯s overseas offices, and introduced some of their cooperation with local partners. Projects and research focus areas. These detailed facts and materials enable participants to have a more concrete understanding of the international development of the Aihui Association and provide a good reference for Chinese civil organizations to seek a broader development space.
In the interactive session, the participants conducted in-depth exchanges with the keynote speakers on topics such as cultural conflicts, value conflicts, partnership selection, and evaluation mechanisms that may occur in the process of international development of civil society organizations. The report will be held in a frank and relaxed atmosphere. Successfully ended.
