BRICS Culture Ministers Conference: Making Cultural Exchange a Normal State

On these two days, the delegates attending the second BRICS Culture Ministers Meeting gathered in Tianjin to discuss cultural exchanges and cooperation and jointly build and share business. At the turn of the country, the people are relatives, and the folks are connected. During the conference, the establishment of four cultural alliances such as the BRIC National Museums Association and the Art Museum Alliance actually established a long-term mechanism to allow the cultural exchange among BRIC countries to be normalized.






Brazil¡¯s Minister of Culture represented Adam Jayme Muniz, Director of the International Promotion Department: ¡°We have witnessed the establishment of the four BRIC countries at the national cultural level. I am grateful to China for its leadership role in this regard. For us, it is an incentive. I believe that with the landing of the action plan, it will greatly promote cultural cooperation among several countries and benefit each other.¡±






Wu Weishan, director of the National Art Museum of China, said: ¡°The establishment of the BRICS National Art Gallery alliance is mainly about the exhibition of mutual exchanges, the collection of works of outstanding artists from various countries, and the organization of special academic forums and collections through exhibitions. There are academic forums to enhance the in-depth exchanges between the BRIC countries."
The BRICS Conference of Ministers of Culture is an important ministerial meeting under the framework of the BRICS cooperation. The participants agreed that the conference has produced fruitful results and will actively promote cultural cooperation among countries.






Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinskiy: "China and Russia are good neighbors, good partners, and good friends linked by mountains and rivers. The results achieved at this conference symbolize another beneficial cultural handshake between the two countries, China and Russia. Russia's comprehensive strategic partnership has added a touch of brighter culture."






Gerald Vusithemba Ndima, Acting Director-General, South African Minister of Arts and Culture: ¡°This conference has provided us with a very good platform for five countries. It will allow us to have opportunities for in-depth cooperation in all areas of culture. China has already taken steps. An important step has been taken, and we have led everyone to make more efforts and contributions for the common development of culture." The heart of the warm-hearted people is the year in which the second decade of the BRICS cooperation began. The ¡°Action Plan¡± and the consensus reached in various fields signed by the Minister of Culture will open up all-round friendly exchanges and cultural exchanges among the countries of the BRICS so that the results of the BRICS cultural cooperation will truly benefit the people.
